Enigform at addons.mozilla.org!

Yes! The new Mozilla Addons site, called AMO by it's community, is now working... and Enigform (starting from 0.7.8) can now be found there!

So, I recommend you install it from there from now on, so you can be notified of new releases as soon as possible.

Of course, for development builds, and alternative installations urls but without Automatic Update, you should always check enigform.mozdev.org first.

:D

Anonymous Internet Browsing Service

Hi!

I've setup a service that many of you will find useful. It is a PROXY server (paid monthly, via paypal) that hides your IP, hides certain HTTP Headers, and also prevents the famous DNS Leaking issue. In short, an Anonymizing Proxy.

Why one more service as there are lots of them already? Simple: I'm a well-known security consultant and Free/Libre Open Source developer. Security, Privacy and Free Speech are my favorite words.

If you want to check out the service, for as low as USD 9.95 per month, via Paypal Subscriptions, you'll get a username and password. Once you have them, just configure your Browser to use this Proxy Settings:

Proxy Host: proxy.mailfighter.net
Proxy Port: 9876
Username and Password: Provided by Paypal when you subscribe to the service.

I'm also waiting to buy an SSL Certificate, so I can offer an SSL/TLS Proxy Port, but special customers can contact me, and I can offer a VPN account to get into the Proxy, so they're own traffic is also encrypted!

Enigform 0.7.3 Released - Works on windows!

Hi people!

Enigform, the Mozilla Firefox extension that extends HTTP by digitally signing POST, GET and AJAX requests, providing Man in the Middle protection, plus Identity Authentication (from a web app perspective), now supports GnuPG under Windows!

Now I need some OSX people that are willing to contribute some of their time ;)

Sincerely,
Buanzo

Enigform 0.6.5 Released!

Dear visitors,

I've released Enigform 0.6.5, the Mozilla Firefox Extension that enhances security by digitally signing, by means of GnuPG, POST requests that a webmaster asks Enigform to sign.

This version adds AJAX support and fixes some bugs (notably, with file uploads).

The Enigform Demo page is now AJAX based, to demonstrate Enigform's new capabilities :)

Check it out: http://freshmeat.net/projects/enigform

Yours,
Buanzo

Wordpress 2.1.1 Release Compromised by Cracker

Hi guys,

Today I fired up my browser and got to this quite interesting story running on Slashdot:

GrumpySimon writes "The recent 2.1.1 release of the popular blog software Wordpress was compromised by a cracker who made it easier for to execute code remotely. This is interesting because the official release was quietly and subtly compromised, and has been in the wild for a few days now. There's no word on if any affected sites have been compromised, but anyone running Wordpress is urged to upgrade to 2.1.2 immediately, and admins can check their logs for access to 'theme.php' or 'feed.php', and query strings with 'ix=' or 'iz=' in them."
What does that mean? Upgrade to Wordpress version 2.1.2 (or greater if available) ASAP!
